Marie L. Hokes, 99, Enjoyed caring for her family home

She was born Tuesday, July 4, 1905 in Cleveland, living most of her life in Grafton Twp.

Mrs. Hokes is a member of Assumption Catholic Church in Grafton for many years, and was a homemaker who enjoyed caring for her family home.

She is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Joan Piskac of Brecksville, Ohio and Mrs. Nancy Roth of Mt. Gilead, Ohio; three sons: Mr. Frank Hokes of Grafton, Ohio, Mr. Joe Hokes of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and Mr. James Hokes of Homerville, Ohio.

Arrangements are being handled by Blackburn-Duke Funeral Home, Inc., 1021-1028 Main Street, Grafton, Ohio, where the family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 21, 2004. Funeral service will be at Assumption Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 22, 2004 , Assumption Catholic Church 1033 Elm St. Grafton with Fr. John P. Seabold officiating.

Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Grafton, Ohio.
