Rafeal Gonzalez, 45, Enjoyed attending church
Rafeal Gonzalez, age 45, of Lorain, died July 20, 2004 at his residence following a lengthy illness.He was born in Lorain to Monin and Andres Gonzalez in 1958.
Mr. Gonzalez was a graduate of Southview High School. He enjoyed attending church at Lorain Gospel Mission, where he was a member.
Survivors include his wife: Lisa Gonzalez (nee Delarino of Lorain); son: Joseph Gonzalez of Lorain; mother: Monin Gonzalez of Amherst; brothers: Andres Gonzalez of Atlanta, GA, Richard Gonzalez of Amherst, Hector Gonzalez of Auburn, GA; Edwin Gonzalez of Dayton, FL; sisters: Gladys Gabriel of Miami, FL, and Lydia Seitz of Rawsonville, GA; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his father: Andres Gonzalez; and a brother: William Gonzalez.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. until the time of service at 8 p.m. on Friday, July 23, 2004 at Wyers Funeral Chapel, 2900 North Ridge Road, Elyria. Friends will meet at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain on Saturday at 10 a.m. for a graveside service. The Rev. Randall D. Sias will officiate.
