Barbara J. Myers, 67, Former travel agent for Bristow Myers

Miss Myers was born on January 31, 1937, in Cleveland and was a lifelong resident of Lorain. She was a 1955 graduate of Lorain High School. She had a Bachelor's degree after attending both Hiram College and Fisk University. She was a travel agent with the former Bristow Myers Travel Agency until its closing.

She served on the board of directors for a number of youth organizations and was secretary for the Mayor's Human Relations Council. She was also a member of Links Inc.

Miss Myers is survived by her mother Genevieve B. (nee Broughton) Myers of Lorain, two sisters Genevieve Stewart of Baton Rouge, LA and Nada D. Myers of Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Bristow C. Myers.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. in Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, Amherst Township, Ohio.

The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to Fisk University, 1000 Seventeenth Ave. North, Nashville, TN 37208-3051 in her memory.
