Antonio Perez Soto, 81, Lived in Lorain for 50 years

He was born on December 22, 1922 in Puerto Rico and has lived in Lorain for
over 50 years, moving from Puerto Rico.
He retired from the City of Lorain Parks and Recreation Department in 1989
after 15 years of service. He had also worked for the Ford Motor Company
Engine Plant in Brookpark for 18 years. He was a member of the Puerto Rican
Home in Lorain.
He is survived by his sons, Fred Perez of Sandusky and Carlos Soto of
Clearwater, Florida; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; brothers,
Bienvenido Perez , Zenon Perez and Ramon Soto, all of Lorain, Johnny Perez
of Bayonne, NJ, Vixon Perez of Puerto Rico and Prorodeco Perez of Puerto
Rico; sisters, Maximina Figero and Alvida Perez, both of Bayonne, NJ and
Crucita Perez of Puerto Rico.
He was preceded-in-death by his wife, Cruzmaria Perez (nee Serrano) in 1995,
a daughter, Elva Hardway in 1987 and parents, Cemon Perez and Alvida Soto.
Private family services were held on Tuesday, July 27, 2004, at the
Dombrowski-Volak-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain. Burial
was in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
