Donald W. "Wayne" Campbell age 52 of Wooster, formerly Eaton Twp., passed away Thursday morning in Louis Stokes VA Medical Center in Cleveland after a short illness.He was born Saturday, Oct. 6, 1951 in Cleveland, living in Eaton Twp. most of his life.
He was a member of Fields United Methodist Church in North Ridgeville. He is s veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam Era and served in Frankfurt, Germany as a draftsman. He was recently employed at Lowes in Wooster as an Electrical Specialist. He is a member of the American Legion Post #68 in Wooster, and past member of the Eagles in Wooster. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, & bowler.
He is survived by 1 daughter Heather Campbell of North Royalton, Ohio, 1 son Travis Campbell of Loudonville, Ohio, his parents Donald & Grace Campbell of Eaton Twp., Ohio, 1 brother David Campbell (Jeanne) of Grafton, Ohio, 1 sister Amy Vincent ( Curt) of Eaton Twp. Ohio, his fiancé Sandy Holderbaum of Wooster, Ohio and many nieces & nephews.
Friends may call in the Blackburn-Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm with funeral services Tuesday in the funeral home at 11:00am with Rev. Deanna True pastor of Assembly of God in Avon off. Friends and family will meet in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio at 2:00pm Tuesday afternoon for burial with military honors at the cemetery.
