Ann Bandersky, 89, Enjoyed reading and gardening

Ann Bandersky (nee Haller), 89, of Lorain, died Wednesday August 11, 2004 at Community Health Partners Hospital in Lorain after a short illness.

She was born July 25, 1915 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and had resided in Lorain most of her life.

Mrs. Bandersky was a member o� St. Vitus Catholic Church in Lorain and the St. Teresa Club. She enjoyed reading, gardening and her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Ann is survived be her daughter: Mrs. James (Ann Marie) Mitchell of Lorain, daughter-in-law Valerie Bandersky of Lorain; 3 grandchildren 3 great grandchildren, sister Mrs. Joseph (Catherine) Udovieb of Lorain; and brothers: George Haller and his wife Kate of Lorain, Matthew Haller and his wife Ann of' Lorain and Paul Hailer of Lorain; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Walter Bandersky on August 13, 1996; son: Walter Bandersky on April 3, 2004; parents: Joseph and Mary Haller; and brothers: Thomas Haller, Steven “Sarge” Haller, John Haller and Joseph Haller.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 3-7 p.m. at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain where the parish rosary will be held Thursday at 3:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral chapel followed by a funeral mass at 10 a.m. at St. Vitus Catholic Church, 1785 E. 32nd St., in Lorain. The Rev. Simon Nekic, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
