Kathleen Jarrell, 82, Enjoyed taking care of her family
Kathleen "Kitty" Jarrell (nee Peters), age 82, of Vermilion, died Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at Grace Hospital, Amherst after a lengthy illness.
She was born April 28, 1922 in Garrison, WV and has been a Vermilion resident for the past 24 years moving from Elyria.
Mrs. Jarrell was a former manager of the Sherwood Forest Apartments in Elyria. She enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family.
Survivors include 3 sons: Herschel Jarrell of Berlin Heights, Pat Jarrell of Vermilion, and Danny Jarrell of Louisville, KY; one daughter: Jean Jabbusch of Vermilion; 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; brother: Bob Peters of Algood, TN; 2 sisters: Bea Sizemore of Wise, VA and Loretta Huchinson of Phoenix, AZ.
Preceding her in death was her husband: Lonnie Jarrell in 1996; parents: John Lewis and Virginia (nee Canticy) Peters; one sister; and several brothers.
Friends may call Wednesday. August 25, 2004 from 4-8 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.
Services will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home, Thursday August 26, 2004 at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Linwood Chamberlain, Jr., pastor of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lorain, officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
