Ethel Anne Tebault, 89, Formerly employed at U.S. Steel
Ethel Anne Tebault (nee Black), 89 years of age and a resident of Wakeman, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2004 at Kingston of Vermilion following a lengthy illness.She was born in Lorain April 16, 1915. She was raised as a young girl in Lorain and lived in Chesapeake, Virginia before moving back to Lorain in 1982. She had made her home in Wakeman for the past 14 years.
She worked as a clerk in the Accounting Dept. of U.S. Steel in Lorain, Ohio for 20 years and at the age of 49 moved to Virginia where she worked for 22 years as Assistant Store Manager for the Smith and Welton Deptartinent Store, in Chesapeake, Virginia, retiring 1981.
Survivors include her son, James Fields of Oregon; her daughter LaVerne Fields-Rowe of Wakeman, Ohio, a Step-son, Steven Tebault of Norfolk, Virginia and Stepdaughter, Diane Briggs of Norfolk, Virginia; 12 Grandchildren and three Great-grandchildren; her Brother, Louis Black, Jr. of Lorain, Ohio
She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Frank L. Tebault in 1988; her son, Robert Fields in 1989, her brother, Joseph Black and sister, Helen Bare and by her parents Louis, Sr. and Mary (nee Nemeth) Black.
Friends may call Friday, August 27, 2004 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. at the Hempel Funeral Home; 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 28, 2004 at 11 a.m. from the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Ohio.
