Nancy Marie Thoen, 65, Housewife and Mother

She was born October 18, 1938 in Cleveland. She was raised in Lorain and had lived the past 25 years in Elyria.

Nancy was a housewife and mother. She enjoyed art, painting, and gardening.

Survivors include husband of 41 years: David A. Thoen; sons: Gary of Columbus, and Michael of Elyria; daughters: Christina Reed of Jacksonville, FL, and JoAnn C. THoen, of Wakeman; and her sister: Betty Mayfield of Tucson, AZ.

Mrs. Thoen was preceded in death by her sister: Pat Horvath; and her mother: Edna Leimbach.

Friends may call Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the Hempel Funeral Home ~ 373 Cleveland Ave. ~ Amherst where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. Rev. Roy McGlugritch, pastor of Apostle Doctrine Church will officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon.
