Katherine R. Croskey, 92, Resided in Kissimmee, FL

Katherine R. Croskey (nee Laux), 92, of Kissimmee and formerly of Lorain, died Monday September 6, 2004 at the home of her daughter in Kissimmee.

She was born July 2, 1912 in Lorain and had resided in Kissimmee for the past five years moving from Lorain.

Mrs. Croskey worked at Fenner Draperies. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Lorain and a former member of the Lorain Elks Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her daughters: Kaylee Potts and her husband Larry of Kissimmee, Florida, Marilyn Jaworski and her husband Phillip of Ashland, and Janet Romariski and her husband Ted of Lorain; 14 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Leland Croskey in 1996; grandson: Phillip Short; parents: Peter & Lucille Laux (nee Angel); her sister Anna Scott; and brothers: Russell Laux, Edward Laux, Henry Laux and Frank Laux.

The family will receive friends Friday 4-8 p.m. at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hrornada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 8th St. and Reid Ave. in Lorain. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
