Shirley Yvonne Mankin, 68, Homemaker, enjoyed Bingo

She was born on December 11, 1935 in Huntington, WV and has lived in Vermilion for 45 years. She had also wintered in Deland, Florida for 15 years.
Shirley was a homemaker and enjoyed traveling, bingo, ceramics and crossword puzzles. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Vermilion.
Survivors include her sons: Marty Lee Mankin of Vermilion and Mitchell Dean Mankin of Somerset, KY; daughters: Joy Lynn Mitchell of Elyria and Malinda Lou Schmitz of Berlin Heights; 8 grandsons and 1 granddaughter; and 1 great-grandchild.
Proceeding her in death was her husband: Lee R. Mankin in 1993, parents: James Haskell and Delma Faye (nee Saunders) Sargent; stepfather, Jake Caldwell; and sisters: Betty Cook and Vivian Collins.
Friends may call on Thursday, September 9, 2004 from 4-7 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.
Services will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home at 1 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 2004. The Reverend Chuck Davis, pastor of the First Assembly of God, will officiate.
Interment will follow in Rugby Cemetery, Brownhelm Township.
