Evelyn B. Nickolette, 72, Enjoyed gardening and traveling

She was born November 28, 1931 in Lorain and had resided in North Ridgeville since 1974 moving from Lorain. She was a graduate of Lorain High School.

Mrs. Nickolette worked as a bookkeeper for RE. Warner & Associates. She was a member of the Italian-American Veterans Post #1 Ladies Auxiliary in Lorain.

She enjoyed gardening, traveling; bingo and casinos.

She is survived by her husband of 3l years: Dale Nickolette of North Ridgeville; and brothers: Albert Burgdorf of Amherst and Paul Burgdorf of Lorain. She was preceded in death by her father William Burgdorf in 1952; mother Martha C. Burgdorf-Mogus (nee Janusiewicz) in 1995; and stepfather: Michael Mogus in 1980.

Friends may call Sunday 2-4; 7-9 p.m. at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. The Rev. William Schill deacon of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lorain will officiate Entombment will follow in the mausoleum at Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery in Avon.
