Florence Likovetz, 81, Enjoyed golfing, boating, and fishing

Florence Likovetz (nee Potocki), 81, or Lorain, died Wednesday, September 15, 2004 at Community Health Partners Hospital in Lorain after a brief illness.

She was born March 2, 1923 in Lorain and had been a lifelong area resident.

Florence was a graduate of Lorain High School class of 1941 B. She was a member of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church on Lorain. She enjoyed golfing, boating, fishing, bowling, and crossword puzzles.

Mrs. Likovetz is survivied by her husband of 63 years: Robert Likovetz of Lorain; daughter: Marilyn Burns of Atlanta, GA; and her brother: Edward Potocki of Lorain.

Her parents: Dominic and Natalie (nee Dorsz) Potocki preceded her in death.

The family will receive friends Friday from 7-9 p.m. at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral chapel followed by a funeral mass at 10 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 1454 Lexington Ave., Lorain. The Rev. Robert Glepko, pastor, and the Rev. Mr. Robert Dybo, deacon, will concelebrate. Entombment will be held in the mausoleum at Calvary Cemetery on Lorain.
