Kenneth Edward Hinds, 79, Employed by NASA

He was born May 9, 1925 in Tilton, New Hampshire, living in Eaton Township since 1962.

Mr. Hinds retired from the U.S. Navy in 1962. After his retirement, he was employed by NASA Lewis Research Center in Brookpark in the Photography Department. He also was the manager of Carnegie Photo in Cleveland, retiring in 1988. He is a member of King Soloman Lodge #56 in Elyria, Elyria Commandry York Rite of Honor #60, Al Koran Temple in Cleveland and Scituate Royal Arch Chapter #8 of Rhode Island. He was also a member of the Lorain County Shrine Club & its Fire Brigade. He was a member of the Model ship Builders Club at the Great Lakes Historical Museum in Vermilion, Ohio. Mr. Hinds was also an Eaton Twp. Zoning Inspector.

He is Survived by a daughter: Linda Bouvier of Amherst, Ohio; a son: Michael Hinds of Sterling, Ohio; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; and a brother: David Hinds of Ridgefield, W.Va.

He is proceeded in death by his wife: Prisicila Ann Hinds in June 2004; and a brother: Robert Hinds.

There will be no visitation, as graveside services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Butternut Ridge Cemetery Eaton Twp. with Deacon Bruce Tennett of St. Agnes of Elyria.

Family suggests memorials be made to the Al Koran Shrine Headquarters 1000 Edgerton Rd. Broadview Heights, Ohio 44117.
