Anna Nestick, 95, Enjoyed Reading and Gardening
Anna Nestick (nee Bodak), 95, of Columbus, Ohio formerly of Sheffield Lake, Ohio, died at the Willow Brook Christian Home in Columbus on Thursday, September 23, 2004 after a long illness.Mrs. Nestick was born June 15, 1909 in Russia. She lived the majority of her life in the Sheffield Lake area moving to Columbus in 1997. She was a homemaker.
She attended St. Theodosius Greek Orthodox Church in Cleveland, Ohio. She volunteered at the Curiosity Shop in Avon and volunteered at the Sheffield Lake Library. She enjoyed reading and gardening. She was an avid bowler with the Senior League in the 1980s.
Mrs. Nestick is survived by her daughter Dorthy Hinnant of Gulf Shores, AL, son Edward A. Nestick of Villa Ricca, GA., 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 1 great great grandson and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Frank Nestick in 1997, son Frank R. Nestick, daughter Patricia Nestick, parents Max and Theodora Bodak, brother John Bodak and sisters Olga Broz, Mary Hornyak and Helen Holyak.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, September 28, 2004 at 10:30 A.M. in Elmwood Cemetery.
