Kenneth G. "Rob" Robinson, 68, Carrier

Kenneth G. "Rob" Robinson, age 68 of Lorain, died unexpectedly on Sunday, October 24, 2004 at Community Health Partners Hospital and Surgical Center - West, Lorain.

Born on June 23, 1936 in Cleveland, Ohio he moved to Lorain in 1985. He had also lived in Sheffield Lake.

Kenneth was a 1955 graduate of Lincoln High School in Cleveland. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era from 1962-1965 and had received the Carbine and 45 Pistol Awards.

He was employed as a carrier for the Morning Journal for the past 13 years. Kenneth was an antique car enthusiast and enjoyed bowling.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years: Beverly J. (nee Wellman), daughters: Juanita Kekic, Rebecca Duffy, Stephanie Miller, Christine Robinson, and Betty Burge, sons: Kenneth Robinson, Michael Robinson, William Robinson, Robert Strader, Terry Milliner, Paul Milliner and Tim Milliner, 27 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father: Roy R. Robinson, mother: Helen S. Anderson and a brother.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 27, 2004 from 6-8 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain, where funeral services will take place at 6:30 p.m. Rev. Juan A. Gonzalez, pastor of Principe De Paz Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will take place at a later date.
