''Annie'' Ora Ann Trogdon, 64, Enjoyed her grandchildren

"Annie" Ora Ann Trogdon, (nee Robinson), 64 years of age, and a resident of South Amherst, passed away January 1, 2005 at Elyria Memorial Medical following a sudden illness.

She was born November 8, 1940 in Johnson Co. Kentucky and was raised in West Virginia. She moved to Ohio in 1964 and came to South Amherst in 1969 where she has remained.

Annie was a member of The Sanctuary at the Congregation of South Amherst. She worked as a waitress, her career spanning for seven years the majority of which where with the Farmer Boy Restaurant in South Amherst as well as the local Kenny Kings. In her spare time she enjoyed attending the activities of her grandchildren.

Survivors include her son, Richard I. Trogdon of South Amherst; daughter, Tamara Sue Stanley of South Amherst; 4 grandchildren; brothers, Jimmy Robinson and Jerry Robinson both of W.VA, and Calvin Robinson of Elyria; sisters, Delores Johnston, Geraldine Bunch and Sue Havens Bragg all of West Virginia.

She was preceded by her husband Ivan Trogdon, Jr. December 4, 2000 after forty two years of marriage and by parents Jimmy and Callie Robinson (nee Mulleff).

Friends may call Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. at the Hempel Funeral Home; 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst. Funeral services will be held Wed. at 11:00 a.m. from the funeral home. Rev. Arthur J. Wiegand, pastor of The Sanctuary at the Congregation of South Amherst will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in South Amherst OH.

Memorial contributions may be made to South Amherst Summer Recreation Board, 101 West Main Street Village Hall, in South Amherst Ohio 44001
