Rita T. Litchkowski, 86, Homemaker
Rita T. (nee Connelly) Litchkowski, age 86, of Lorain, died on Wednesday, February 16, 2005, at Community Health Partners Hospital & Surgical Center in Lorain, OH following a long illness.
Mrs. Litchkowski was born on August 29, 1918, in West Nanticoke, PA and moved to Lorain in 1958.
She was a member of St. Mary Church in Lorain. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of A.A.R.P., Lorain Senior Citizens, St. Mary's Women's Guild, former Aqua Marine and cooked as a volunteer at the Catholic Center until about 1 year ago.
She is survived by her daughter Bernadine Litchkowski of Lorain, OH, son: Edward J. Litchkowski of Lorain, OH, 4 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Litchkowski is preceded in death by her husband Edward F. Litchkowski in 1966, son Robert Litchkowski in 1976, parents Peter and Mamie (nee Ramsey) Connelly, brother James Connelly and sister Anna Grevera and Half-sisters Agnes Driscoll and Mamie Gates.
Friends may call at Schwartz Spence Boyer & Cool Home for Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, OH, on Friday, February 18, 2005, from 2-4 to 7-9 PM.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 19, 2005, at 9:30 a.m. in Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals followed by a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Church 8th & Reid, Lorain, OH. Rev. Daniel O. Divis will officiate.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain, OH.
