Ganoula S. Reppas, 92, Mother and Homemaker

She was born March 15, 1913 in Prodromos, Greece. She came to Lorain in 1957.

Mrs. Reppas was a homemaker and mother who was a member of Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, Lorain. She was also a member of Theveon Helikon Society, Lorain. She enjoyed sewing and cooking for family gatherings.

Among the survivors are her sons Dimitrios Reppas of Fort Lee, New Jersey and Nick Reppas of Hilliard, Ohio; 5 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years Serafim Reppas in April 2003, parents Nichola and Eleni (nee Angelou) Kalpouzos, son Sotirios Reppas in February 2004 and daughters Kalomira and Heleni Reppas and a sister Elizabeth Thonoi.

Friends may call Friday, March 18, 2005, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain, Ohio, where Trisayon service will be 5:00 PM Friday evening.

Funeral service will be Saturday, March 19, 2005, 1:00 PM in Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 2000 Tower Blvd., Lorain. Reverend Michael Gulgas, Pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
