Frank P. Mercado, 87 of Lorain died Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at Community Health Partners and Surgical Center following a long illness.Mr. Mercado was born on April 29, 1917 in Mexico City, Mexico moving to Lorain in 1988. Mr. Mercado attended Church of The North Coast.
Before his retirement, Mr. Mercado was a security guard at Universal Studios in California.
He enjoyed woodworking.
Mr. Mercado is survived by a daughter Deborah Knowles of Lorain, son Dennis Mercado of California, 2 grandsons, 1 great granddaughter and 9 brothers and sisters.
He was preceded in death by Lois (Nee Knitter) Mercado on Dec. 28, 1999.
