Ines Vazquez, 77, Homemaker and Mother
Ines Vazquez 77 of Lorain died at Community Health Partners Hospital and Surgical Center, Lorain following a lengthy illness.She was born in 1927 in Guayama, Puerto Rico. She lived in Guayama until she moved here in May of 2004 to live with her daughter.
She was a homemaker and mother who was a member of Sacred Heart Chapel, Lorain and San Antonio de Padua in Guayama, Puerto Rico. She was voted mother of the year in Guayama, Puerto Rico. She enjoyed dancing. Her and her late husband won dance competitions.
Among the survivors are her sons Francisco, Luis, Alberty and Wilfredo all of Guayama, Puerto Rico; daughters Maria Ines and Amada Arlene Cruz both of Guayama, Puerto Rico, Enid and Ada Cruz both of Lorain, 27 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Husband of 57 years Francisco Cruz Diaz in August of 2002 and twin children in infancy.
She will be taken to Guayama, Puerto Rico for a funeral mass and burial in the Cementero Municipal de Guayama.
A memorial mass at Sacred Heart Chapel, Lorain will be announced later.
