Mary Margaret Wirkner, 89, Enjoyed Fishing and Sewing

Mary Margaret Wirkner age 89 of Grafton passed away Tuesday evening March 22, 2005 in Northridge Health Center in North Ridgeville after a short illness.

She was born Sunday, September 5, 1915 in Buffalo, Ohio, living in Grafton since 1937. She is a member of Assumption Catholic Church in Grafton, and is a member of the Alter & Rosary Society of the church. Mrs. Wirkner retired from the Midview School District where she worked in the Cafeteria.

She enjoyed fishing, sewing, and caring for her family home.

She is survived by 1 Daughter Jeanette Carbonari of Oklahoma, 3 Sons Kenneth Wirkner of Grafton, Ohio, Ralph Wirkner of Amesville, Ohio, Richard Wirkner of Marblehead, Ohio, 8 Grandchildren & 1 Great grand child., 2 sisters Josephine Morse of Medina, Ohio, Annie Box of Grafton, Ohio.

She is proceeded in death by her husband Ray in 1986, her parents John & Mary Ballek, 1 sister and 3 brothers.

Friends may call in the Blackburn-Duke Funeral Home, 1021 Main St., Grafton Saturday, March 26, 2005, evening from 7:00 - 9:00 pm with a funeral mass in Assumption Catholic Church 1033 Elm St. Grafton Monday at 10:00 am with Fr. John Seabold pastor officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Grafton.
