Photo of Joseph G. Rivenbark Joseph G. Rivenbark, 41 of Amherst died on Wednesday, March 23, 2005, at Metro Health General in Cleveland, OH, unexpectedly.

Mr. Rivenbark was born on May 3, 1963, in Bay Village, OH and has lived in Amherst since 1990. He was a 1982 graduate of Brookside High School after attending the Lorain County Joint Vocational School Carpentry program. Mr. Rivenbark was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Sheffield Lake.

He had worked as a carpenter for Wright Brother's, worked in the tool & die at Danley Die Set, was a crew member for Catholic Cemeteries at St. Mary's, St. Joseph and Calvary Cemeteries. He has been employed as a carpenter for Green Circle Growers for the last 4 years.

Mr. Rivenbark enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his wife Candy L. (nee George) Rivenbark to whom he was married July 25, 1992, his parents Clayton B. and Donna R. (nee Fields) Rivenbark, sisters Cheryl P. Engelhardt of Oberlin, Judy Jones of Lorain, Maria E. Mick of Lexington, brothers Clifford W. Rivenbark of Elyria, Michael T. Rivenbark of Dover, DE. 8 nephews, 8 nieces and several great nephews and nieces.

Friends may call at the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, Ohio 44052 on Sunday, March 27, 2005 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.

Funeral services will be on Monday, March 28, 2005, at 10:30 PM in the funeral home with Rev. Stephen L. Shields, pastor of St. Thomas Catholic Church, officiating. Also officiating will be Rev. Alfred Reed and Rev. David Jones. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.

The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League of Lorain County, 8303 Murray Ridge Road, Elyria, Ohio 44035.
