Lenora Pavlovcic, 79, Head Nurse
Lenora M. Pavlovcic (nee Prill), 79, of Elyria Township, died Saturday March 26, 2005 in the critical care unit at Community Health Partners Hospital in Lorain after a brief illness.She was born January 25, 1926 in Lorain and had resided in Elyria Township for the past 48 years moving from Lorain.
Lenora worked as a Registered Nurse at the former St. Joseph Hospital in Lorain from 1947 to 1960 and was Head Nurse in Labor and Delivery.
She was a member of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Lorain, KSKJ Lodge #85 and the Amherst Crafts Club in which she was past president. Lenora enjoyed painting china and sending greeting cards to family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years Raymond Pavlovcic of Elyria Township, brother Robert Prill of Lorain, sisters Virginia Grunda of Sheffield Lake and Delores Kos of Elyria Township and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Cecelia Prill (nee Michalski).
The family will receive friends Monday 2-4; 7-9 p.m. at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain were the parish rosary will be prayed Monday at 7:15 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral chapel followed by the mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church., 1705 E.31st St., Lorain. The Rev. Paul Krajnik, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be followed in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
