Joan A. Gleisner, 69, Devoted Homemaker, Mother and Grandmother

Joan A. (nee Binder) Gleisner, 69 of Lorain died at her home in Holiday Lakes near Willard on Saturday, April 9, 1005.

Mrs. Gleisner was born on February 25, 1936 in Lorain and was a life long resident of Lorain.

She graduated from Lorain High School and was a devoted homemaker, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Lorain.

Mrs. Gleisner is survived by her husband of 49 years, Donald A., daughters Jayne and Lisa both of Willard, one granddaughter, her parents, Gustav A. and Mildred (nee Nuhn) Binder of Lorain, sisters Jean McKitrick and Wilma Paghi both of Lorain.

She was preceded in death by a son Steve Gleisner.

Friends may call at the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, on Monday, April 11, 2005 from 5-8 pm.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at 11:00 am in the Zion Luther Church, 5100 Ashland Ave., Lorain with Rev. Kent V. Wilson, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Willard officiating.

Burial will be in the Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, Amherst Township.

The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to either Zion Lutheran Church, 5100 Ashland Ave. Lorain, Ohio 44052, or Trinity Lutheran Church, 308 Myrtle Ave., Willard Ohio 44890.
