Clara Luvera-Puma, 82, Enjoyed Music

Clara Luvera-Puma (nee Dorsz), 82, of Lorain, died Monday April 11, 2005 at Autumn Aegis Nursing Home in Lorain after a lengthy illness.

She was born May 16, 1922 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident.

Clara worked at the Harvest House Cafeteria in the Midway Mall in Elyria retiring in 1978.

She enjoyed music, watching the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians and taking care of her pug and Pekinese dogs.

She is survived by her sons James Luvera of Lorain and Dave Luvera of Elyria. She was preceded in death by her parents Alex and Eva (nee Pomatowsky) Dorsz and brother Stanley Dorsz.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 12, 2005, from 4-8 PM at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM. The Rev. Robert J. Glepko, pastor of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Lorain, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
