Linda Rivera, 51, President of Church Women's Ministry

She was born March 2, 1954 in Lubbock, Texas and had resided in Lorain for the past 41 years.

Linda was a member of Temple Emmanuel Assembly of God in Lorain. She was active with her church serving as president of the Women’s Ministry and was a 1983 graduate of the church Bible Institute.

Linda enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, speed walking and church activities.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years Ezekiel Rivera of Lorain, son Ezekiel Daniel Rivera of Lorain, daughters Elizabeth Alvarez of Lorain, Rachel Hope Reyes of North Olmsted and Sabrina Rivera of Lorain, 5 grandchildren and brothers Glenn Luna of Knoxville, Tennessee and Rudy Luna and Daniel Reyna, both of Lorain. She was preceded in death by her parents Rudolfo and Guadalupe Luna (nee Solis) and sister Maria Martinez.

The family will receive friends Friday, April 15, 2005, from 2-4, 7-9 PM at Temple Emmanuel Assembly of God, 4230 Clinton Ave., Lorain. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM in the church with the Rev. Daniel Reyes, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
