F. Jane Nabakowski DeLloyd, 84, Enjoyed Gardening and Golfing

F. Jane Nabakowski DeLloyd (nee: Baird), 84 years of age, and a resident of Amherst, passed away Friday, April 15, 2005 at the Hospital for Orthopedic and Specialty Services in Amherst following a lengthy illness.

She was born September 7, 1920 in Brownhelm. She lived most of her life in Amherst.

She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Amherst and an associate member of the Elyria Congregational United Church of Christ. Jane enjoyed gardening, golfing and playing cards with family and friends.

Survivors include her husband Robert DeLloyd of Amherst; her son Timothy J. Nabakowski of Bier, Washington; her daughter Peggy Ann Mertz of Avon Lake; three granddaughters; one grandson and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband of fifty-nine years, James Nabakowski in 2001; by her grandson Nathanel Nabakowski; by her parents Parker and Florence Baird; and by her brother James Baird.

Friends may call Sunday, April 17, 2005, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Hempel Funeral Home, 373 Cleveland Avenue, Amherst. A private graveside service will be held at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township. The Rev. Dennis Fredriksen, pastor of First Congregational United Church of Christ of Elyria will officiate.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 115 Central Drive, Amherst, or Western Reserve Hospice, 424 Middle Avenue, Elyria, Ohio 44035.
