Antonette Mannillo, 81, Enjoyed her grandchildren & traveling
Antonette Mannillo, age 81, of Lorain, died Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at Community Health Partners and Surgical Center in Lorain following a sudden illness.She was born June 16, 1923 in Lorain, Ohio, graduating from Lorain High School in 1941.
She was a homemaker, a member of the Catholic Church of St. Peter in Lorain and its Holy Name Society. She enjoyed her grandchildren, traveling and attending festivals.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Joseph Mannillo of Lorain, daughters, Gloria McGee of Lorain and Joyce Schmidt of Lilburn, GA; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; brother, John Murello of Amherst; sisters, Mary Novak of Lorain and Michalina DiGianntonio of Chicago, IL.
Preceding her in death were a son, Joseph Jr. and her parents, Marco and Louise (nee Giantonio) Moriella.
Friends may call Thursday, May 5, 2005 from 1-3 and 7-9 pm at the Dombrowski-Volak-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain, Ohio.
Prayers will be said at the funeral home at 12:00 noon on Friday, May 6, 2005 followed my a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30pm at the Catholic Church of St. Peter, 3501 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain. The Reverend Kenneth Wolnowski, pastor, will be the Celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Lorain.
