Mary F. Braun, 59, Owner/Operator of Grafitti Plus

Photo of Mary F. Braun Mary F. Braun (nee Nelson), 59, of Vermilion, died Thursday, May 19, 2005 in New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph after surviving breast cancer for 11 years.

She was born May 30, 1945 in Barboursville, WV. She has been a Vermilion resident since 1964 moving from Amherst.

She is the owner/operator of "Grafitti Plus", a monogramming business in Vermilion, for the past 35 years.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Lorain. She was also a member of the Breast Cancer Support Group and past secretary of the Ohio Husky-Musky Club. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, outdoor vacations and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Dennis Braun; 2 daughters, Denise Fenik of Vermilion, and Darlene Rodriguez of Lorain; a son, David Braun of Fremont; 11 grandchildren; and a brother, Bill Nelson of Amherst.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elba and Hattie (nee Jobe) Nelson; a sister, Renee Cambarare; a brother, Gary Nelson; and her step father, Bob Bluemeier.

Friends may call Sunday, May 22, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at the Zion Lutheran Church, 5100 Ashland Avenue, Lorain, Monday, May 23, 2005, at 11 am. Reverend Kevin Saylor, pastor, will officiate.
Interment will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst.
