Andrew Lisca, 75, Worked in Purchasing & Acoounting at Lorain-Coyahoga Works of U.S. Steel

He went on to serve in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was attached to the 101st Airborne Special Services Division based in Heidelberg, Germany.
Mr. Lisca was employed by the United States Steel Corporation in the accounting and purchasing department of its Lorain-Cuyahoga Works. He retired in 1986 following more than thirty years of service with the steel producer.
He was a member of Italian-American Veterans Post # 1 of Lorain, the Disabled American Veterans, as well as the American Legion in Naples, Florida. He was an avid golfer and was a member of the Windstar Country Club of Naples as well as a former member of Columbia Hills Country Club in Columbia Township.
Additional interests included flower gardening and communicating via e-mail with friends and relatives on his personal computer.
Survivors include his wife of twenty-nine years: Margaret (nee Williams Hall), daughters Andrea Wargo of Bay Village, and Marilyn Lawson of Valley City, Ohio, son Scott Hall of Berea, eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and sisters Mary Kowalski and Antoinette Zinitz both of Lorain.
He was preceded in death by his son Drew in 1969, by his parents Gavino and Maria (nee Maiore) Lisca, and a brother: Dr. Peter Lisca in 2002.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until time of memorial services at 3:00 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway, Lorain. The Reverend Dr. Ralph Krupp, permanent deacon representing the Catholic Church of Saint Peter, will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making memorial contributions to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 634445, Cincinnati, OH 45263-4445.
