Photo of  Frank Raymond Horvath Frank Raymond Horvath, 69, of Vermilion, died Thursday, June 9, 2005 in New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, Lorain after a 12 year illness.

He was born March 15, 1936 in Carolina, WV. He had lived in Vermilion the past 42 years moving from Lorain.

He worked in the stock department of Ford Motor, Lorain. He was a member of the Bow and Barrel Archery Club, and an avid philatelic and art cover collector. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and loved the outdoors.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Ara Horvath (nee Powers); son, Jeffrey Horvath of Columbus; daughter, Frances Horvath Bachman of Cleveland; granddaughter, Emma Horvath Bachman of Cleveland ; sisters, Elaine Gardner of Las Vegas , NV Marianne Bell of Florence, KY and an aunt and uncle.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Frank Raymond and Helen (nee Kish) Horvath.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 12, 2005 at 2 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. Carl Kapoks, Birmingham Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, will officiate. Friends may call following the service until 4 p.m.
