Jacqueline ''Jackie'' Stewart, 73, Worked at Hills Department Stores

She was born August 2, 1931 in Ages, Kentucky and had been a Lorain area resident since 1952.

Jackie worked at the Hills Department Stores in Lorain and Elyria for over 20 years as a clerk and supervisor in the Lay-Away department retiring in 1988.

Jackie was a member of Lorain Baptist Church and was active in many church groups. She enjoyed playing cards and was an active league bowler.

She is survived by her daughters: Sharon Meadows of LaGrange, Deborah Lynn Septaric of Lorain, Lydia Martin of Wellington and Sandra Logsdon of Grove City, son Jack A. Stewart, Jr. of Louisville, Kentucky, 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jack A. Stewart, Sr on July 5, 1998 and parents Samp and Lydia (nee Ball) Adams.

A graveside funeral service will be held Friday, June 24, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, 44805 N. Ridge Rd., Amherst.
