Jerry L. Wright, 55, Vice President of P.A.C.E. International Union Local 50435 Lorain
Jerry L. Wright, 55 of Lorain, died Sunday, July 10, 2005 in his home following a lengthy illness.He was born April 4, 1950 in Burton, West Virginia. He was a Lorain resident for 53 years, coming here as a child.
Mr. Wright was employed until May of this year as a transporter and a assembler for Crown Steel Company In Lorain. He worked there for 35 years.
He was the Vice President of P.A.C.E. International Union Local 50435 Lorain, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and collecting antique and classic cars.
Among the survivors are his wife Deborah Wright (nee Milner) of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; sons Jason and Joshua Wright both of Lorain; daughter Joy Mc Grady of Cleveland; mother Lillian Pitzer of New Freeport, Pennsylvania; sisters Ruth De Berry of Lorain, Karen Wright of Ocala, Florida and Audrey Russell; brothers Butch Wright of Amherst, Junior Wright of Lorain, and Danny Wright of Ligonier, Indiana; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Denzil Wright and a sister Margaret Blankenship.
A memorial service will be Wednesday 5:00 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain, Ohio.
