Florence Joan Greggs, 76, Enjoyed Gardening
Florence Joan Greggs, 76, of Avon Lake passed away after a heart attack on Monday, July 18, 2005 at St. John West Shore Hospital in Westlake. She had been ailing for a short time.She was born June 25, 1929 in Bay Village and was raised in Westlake. She has been a resident of Avon Lake for 41 years.
Before marriage she worked for Colsens Manufacturing in Elyria and Bowman Industries in Cleveland.
She enjoyed being a homemaker and gardening.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Jack E. Greggs. She has two sons, Mark A. of Republic, Ohio and Todd G. of Avon Lake and one granddaughter, Misty. She is survived by one brother Robert Dicus of Sheffield Lake and a sister Joyce Reed (Benjamin F.) of Westlake.
Memorial Services will be held Thursday, July 21, 2005 at 2 p.m. at the Busch Funeral and Crematory Services, 163 Avon Belden Road, Avon Lake.
