Sophie Kietlinski, 87, Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church Member

Sophie Kietlinski (nee Peltz), 87, of Lorain, died Wednesday, July 20, 2005 in Community Health Partners in Lorain.

She was born on June 19, 1918 in Lorain and has been a life-time resident, until moving to reside at the Amherst Manor Retirement Community 7 years ago.

She was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Lorain and its Altar & Rosary Society.

Survivors include a sister, Helen Peltz of Garfield Heights; brother, Paul Peltz of Lorain; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Stanley Kietlinski in 1977 and parents, Michael and Frances (nee Ziomber) Peltz.

Friends may call Friday, July 22, 2005, from 4-8 pm at the Dombrowski-Humphrey-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain, Ohio. Members of the church will recite the rosary at 6:00 pm.

Prayers will be said at the funeral home at 10:30 am on Saturday, July 23, 2005, with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 11:00 am at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 418 West 15th Street, Lorain. The Reverend Edward Luca, pastor emeritus at St. Teresa Catholic Church in Sheffield and Reverend Mr. Robert J. Dybo, Deacon at Nativity BVM will concelebrate.

Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
