Elizabeth "Louise" Stevens, 66, Active Veteran Member

She was born September 6, 1938 in Rivesville, WV and has been a Vermilion resident for the past 40 years moving from Rivesville, West Virginia.

She tended bar at Driftwood in Vermilion and had previously worked for Rebate One.

Mrs. Stevens was a member of Amvets Aux. Post #22, American Legion Aux. Post #397 , and she was a social member of the VFW Post #7576. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, and taking care of her pets.

Survivors include her husband of 22 years John W. Stevens; 2 sons, Robert Prather of Norwalk, and Roger Prather of Sheffield Lake; a step-son, Chad Stevens of Monroeville; a step-daughter, Tracy Stevens of Sandusky; a granddaughter; and a brother Orville Jones of Rivesville, WV.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Paul and Ethel (nee Hayhurst) Jones.

Friends may call on Sunday July 31, 2005 from 2-6 pm. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.

Services will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home, Monday, August 1, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. with Matthew Humphrey, Life Celebrant, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Lawn Memorial Park, Huron.
