Jerry "Wayne" Prewitt, 51
Jerry "Wayne" Prewitt, age 51 of Grafton, passed away suddenly Thursday morning, July 28, 2005, in Elyria Memorial Hospital RMC.He was born Saturday, July 24, 1954 in Ft. Campbell, Ky. He lived in Northern Ohio most of his life and in LaGrange Twp. since 1986.
He was employed by Cleveland RTA until his retirement in 1985, and enjoyed camping and farming.
He is survived by his wife Virginia, married 27 years; two sons, Andrew Prewitt of Missouri and Cody Prewitt at home; his mother Maxine Prewitt of Westlake, Ohio; two brothers, Mark Prewitt of Medina, Ohio and Richard Prewitt of Westlake, Ohio; and two sisters, Deborah Porvaznik of Brunswick, Ohio and Elizabeth Huffman of Westlake, Ohio.
He is proceded in death by his son Anthony in 1994 and his father Mark Prewitt.
Friends may call in the Blackburn-Duke Funeral Home, 1021 Main St., Grafton on Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00pm with funeral services Monday at 10:30am in the funeral home. Elder Mike Smith will officiate. Burial will be in River Rd. Cemetery, LaGrange Twp.
