Laurel D. Runals, 92, Enjoyed Dairy Farming

He was born Sunday, December 8, 1912 in LaGrange and lived there all his life.

Mr. Runals attended the First Baptist Church in LaGrange. He enjoyed Dairy farming and worked for several places including Wilford Hatchery for 30 years, was a green house boiler operator, worked at Republic Steel, and on gas and oil well rigs in W.Va.

Mr. Runals is a former member of Pamona Grange, American Motorcycle Assn., National Rifle Assn., National Threshers Assn., LaGrange Engine Club, National Outboard Racing Assn., Tuscarus Valley Steam show. His hobbies included collecting antique steam engines & antique tractors.

He is survived by 2 Sons Harold Runals Sr. of LaGrange, Ohio, Paul Runals of Eastlake, Ohio
2 Daughters Bonnie Carpenter of Adrian, Michigan, Donna Andry of Adrian, Michigan, several grand children & great grand children.

Friends may call in the Blackburn-Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton, Monday, August 1, 2005, evening from 7:00 to 9:00 pm with funeral services in the funeral home Tuesday at 10:00 am with Rev. Walter Spieth, Associate pastor of the First Baptist Church in LaGrange officiate. Burial will be in LaGrange Cemetery, LaGrange Ohio.
