Marcia Jean Collins, 64, Active Organist

She was born April 23, 1941 in Lorain, and had lived in Vermilion 30 years before moving to Lorain.
She had attended Ohio State University and had worked at Driscolls Music Store and Century Tel, Lorain.
She was a member of the Vermilion Evangelical and Reformed Church, Vermilion, where she was an organist. She had played organ at many other area churches as well. She gave private piano lessons and was an avid Bingo player in Lorain, Amherst, and Berlin Heights.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Gordon "Bud" Collins of Vermilion; daughters Renee L. Stever of Berlin Heights, Lisa A. Davies of Catawba, Michelle L. Livermore of Wakeman; brother Glen Mikolanda of Lorain; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her father, Otto Mikolanda and mother Mary Mikolanda (nee Krosky) on August 5, 2005.
Friends may call Saturday, August 20th from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. at Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. The Reverend Charles Livermore, assistant pastor of the Kipton Community Church, will officiate.
Entombment will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
