Hector L. Cirilo, 63, Avid Cleveland Indians Fan

Hector L. Cirilo 63 of Lorain died Friday, August 26, 2005 in Arecibo Regional Medical Center, Arecibo, Puerto Rico following a brief illness, while vacationing and visiting family in Fajardo, Puerto Rico.

He was born December 22, 1941 in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. He lived there until moving to Lorain in 1953. He and his family lived between New York and Puerto Rico for 22 years before settling in Lorain in 1977.

Mr. Cirilo retired in 1980 from Ford Brookpark Engine Plant. He worked there for seven years.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Chapel, Lorain and the United AutoWorkers of Brookpark. He was an avid Cleveland Indians Fan.

Among the survivors are his wife of 44 years Maria (nee Maldonado) Cirilo, sons Hector L. Cirilo, Jr. of Avon, Joseph A. Cirilo of Kingston, Pennsylvania, Albert Cirilo of Fussen, Germany, Jovito Cirilo of Sheffield Village, Santiago Cirilo of Chapmansboro, Tennessee and Luis J. Cirilo of Columbus, daughter Annie Cirilo of Lorain, Sisters Jovita Cirilo of Fajardo, Puerto Rico and Marta Cirilo of Lorain, and ten Grandchildren and two Great Granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jovito and Amalia (nee Rosa) Cirilo, a brother Ramon Cirilo and a sister Delia Cirilo.

Friends may call Wednesday, August 31, 2005, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 east 31st Street, South Lorain, Ohio. Funeral service will be Thursday 10:00 AM in the Funeral Home. Tony DeGracia Permanent Deacon of Sacred Heart Chapel will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
