Marion Masijowsky, 79, Enjoyed Farming and Raising Animals
Marion Mosijowsky, 79, of Vermilion, died Monday, August 29, 2005 in EMH Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness.He born June 8, 1926 in Lviv, Ukraine, immigrated in 1955 and became a US citizen in 1976. He lived in Vermilion since 1961 moving from Lorain.
He worked as an assembler for Ford Motor, Lorain. He enjoyed farming and raising animals.
Survivors include his wife of 3 years, Maria (nee Gripa) Mosijowsky; sons, Michael Mosijowsky of Huron, Joseph Mosijowsky of Lorain, and Steve Mosijowsky of Vermilion; 7 grandchildren; a brother, Adolph Mosijowsky and sisters, Binni and Sash all of the Ukraine.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Audrey Mosijowsky in 2002, parents Stah and Anna Mosijowsky.
Friends may call Wednesday, August 31, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. A Panakahyda Service will be held at 7 p.m.
A funeral mass will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Church, 3039 Charleston Avenue, Lorain. Rev. Steven M. Paliwoda will officiate. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
