Cahterine M. Romanski, 95, Seamstress

She was born on September 14, 1909 in Lorain and has been a lifelong resident.

She worked as a seamstress for the Oberlin Avenue Carpet Shop for 25 years, retiring in 1969. She was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Mary Church in Lorain, the Salvation Army Keen-agers and the United Polish Club, where she served as the president for several years.

She is survived by her sons, Theodore A. Romanski of Lorain and Ronald W. Romanski of Amherst; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Walter Dorinski of Lordstown, Ohio.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Adolph Romanski in 1978, parents, Walter and Mary (nee Niskey) Dorinski, brothers, Frank and Sylvester Dorinski and sisters, Theresa Radase, Ritha Johnson and sister, Mary March of Lorain.

The will be no funeral home visitation. A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2005 at 10:00am at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 418 West 15th Street, Lorain. The Reverend Robert J. Glepko, pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
