Kenneth Lee Kidd, 63, First Energy/Ohio Edison Foreman
Kenneth Lee Kidd, 63, of Vermilion, died Tuesday, September 13, 2005 at his home in Vermilion after a10 month illness.
He was born October 11, 1941 in Orlando, Florida, and lived the past 58 years in Vermilion.
He worked as a foreman for First Energy/Ohio Edison for 32 years. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He was a life member of the Vermilion AMVETS Post #22 and the American Legion Post # 397. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Sandra (nee Hamner) Kidd; step son, Brian Fischer of Oak Harbour , WA ; brother, Jim Kidd of Lorain; and nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Kenneth J. and Althea (nee Robinson) Kidd.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. until the time of the service at 4 p.m. Saturday, September 24 at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. The Vermilion Veterans Council will conduct military services.
