Beatrice M. ''Bea'' Falk, 74, Enjoyed League-Bowling Competition

Mrs. Falk was born in Amherst Township on March 20, 1931 and had been a resident of Lorain for the greater portion of the past fifty years. She had briefly resided in Lansing, Illinois and Carpentersville, Illinois.

Bea was a graduate of Eaton High School. For more than twenty-two years she had been employed as an office supervisor for the Central Trust Company where she fulfilled assignments at its Broadway Avenue, Sheffield Center and Shoreway Branches. She had also been employed as a sales associate for the East Erie Avenue Convenient Food Mart Store in Lorain.

Mrs. Falk was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Lorain where she was also heavily involved in the Altar Guild. She served as a volunteer with the Lorain Board of Elections, and enjoyed league-bowling competition throughout the area. A member of the former Lorain Saxon Club, additional hobbies included solving word search and crossword puzzles. While residing in Illinois, she had also served as a Girl Scout troop co-leader.

Survivors include her daughters Dawn Riesen of Elyria, Gayle Shroy of Mentor and June Perez of Amherst, six granddaughters, one grandson, and two great granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her husband Otto J. Falk in 1967, by her parents Herman and Frances (nee Giedlinski) Jagusch, and by a brother Herman Jagusch, Jr.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 18, 2005 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in the Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Kevin Saylor, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
