Mary Elizabeth Hunady, 91
Mary Elizabeth Hunady, (nee Pribanic), age 91, of Amherst, died Friday September 16th, 2005 at the New Life Hospice Center of Saint Joseph following a brief illness.Mrs. Hunady was born October 23, 1913 in Lorain and had been a long-time resident of the city. She resided in Bowling Green, Ohio for seventeen years returning to Lorain County in 1995.
Survivors include her sons Dr. Ronald J. Hunady of Charlotte, North Carolina, Denis P. Hunady residing in Florida, and Raymond Hunady of Lorain, grandsons Jonathon and Matthew Hunady, granddaughters Jill and Pam Hunady, Jennifer Knoerzer and Wendy Hildebrandt, great grandsons Joshua and Ryan Knoerzer, Gregory Spangler, Austin and Mason Hildebrandt, and great granddaughters Madison and Savanna Hunady along with a brother Mathew Pribanic residing in Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-three years Frank in 1999, by her parents John and Caroline (nee Underlic) Pribanic, by brothers Frank, Michael, Joseph, and John, and by a sister Anna Tropio.
Friends may call Tuesday, September 20, 2005, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel 3224 Broadway Avenue Lorain. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral chapel with the Reverend Dale Warrick, pastor of Cornerstone United Methodist Church presiding. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery Lorain.
