Zinaida "Zina" Kazimirow, 85, Lorain Products Retiree

Zinaida "Zina" Kazimirow (nee Lenkow) 85 of Lorain died Sunday, September 18, 2005 in Anchor Lodge Nursing Home, Lorain following a brief illness.

She was born October 17, 1919 in Homel, Russia. She escaped from Russia in 1943 to Germany. In 1955, she immigrated to Lorain.

Mrs. Kazimirow retired as an assembler in department 200 of Lorain Products, Lorain in 1984. She worked there for 20 years.

She was a member of Saint Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, South Lorain. She was also a member of the church's Saint Mary Sisterhood. She enjoyed Knitting, crocheting and gardening. She especially loved her roses.

Among the survivors are her daughters Olga Sivinski of Amherst, Nina Sevel of Aurora and Vera Opel of Oberlin; a sister Antonia Jojoba of Lorain and six Grandchildren and Four Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Semion and Maria (nee Prezowa) Lenkow, Brother Ivan Lenkow and a sister Warwara Karatkow and a Great Grandson.

Friends may call Tuesday, September 20, 2005, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain, Ohio. Where Parastas will be Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM in the funeral home. Friends may also call Tuesday 9:00 AM until time of service at 10:00 AM in Saint Peter and Paul Orthodox Church East 32nd Street and Gary Avenue, South Lorain. Archpriest Basil Stoyka will officiate. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
