Robert L. Fedor, 53, Tool & Die Maker; Avid Tribe Fan

Robert L. Fedor, 53, of Lorain, died Friday September 23, 2005 at his home after a long illness.

He was born January 22, 1952 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident.

Robert was a 1970 graduate of Clearview High School in Lorain and had attended Lorain County Community College.

He worked as a tool & die maker at Plastic Components in North Ridgeville for 10 years and prior to that worked as a machinist in the machine shop at US Steel in Lorain for 10 years.

Robert was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Lorain. He was a licensed private pilot and flew out of the Lorain County Airport. He was an avid Cleveland Indians baseball fan, avid fisherman and enjoyed classic cars and gardening.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years Ula Fedor (nee Lukas), daughter Marianne Fedor at home, sister Carole Husar of Scottsdale, Arizona, 2 uncles, 1 aunt and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents Louis J. & Betty J. Fedor (nee Schmidt).

The family will receive friends Monday, September 26, 2005 from 4-9 PM at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Avenue, Lorain where Trisayion services will be held Monday at 7:30 PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 2000 Tower Blvd., Lorain. The Rev. Michael Gulgas, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
