Harry C. ''Greg'' Zadorozny, 68, Enjoyed Scuba Diving, Boating & Hunting
Harry C. Greg Zadorozny, 68, of Hudson, Florida and formerly of Lorain, died Tuesday October 4, 2005 at Gulf Side Regional Hospice in New Port Richey, Florida after a six-month illness.He was born July 25, 1937 in Lorain and had resided in Florida for the past 4 years moving from Lorain where he had lived most of his life.
Harry served with the US Army from 1955 to 1961. He worked at National Gypsum in Lorain as a mechanic retiring in 1988. Prior to that he had worked at Fruehauf Trailer in Avon Lake and CEI in Avon Lake.
He was a member of St. John Ukrainian Byzantine Rite Catholic Church in Lorain and St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Lorain.
Harry enjoyed boating, fishing, scuba diving, hunting, trapping and coin collecting.
He is survived by his daughter Tamara Vitale of Scranton, Pennsylvania, sons Gregory Zadorozny and Daniel Zadorozny, both of Hudson, Florida, daughter Lindee Zadorozny of Albuquerque, New Mexico, stepchildren Tim Cassidy, Terri Cassidy, Tom Cassidy and Tracie Hildum, all of the Lorain area, 8 grandchildren, sister Sandra Harcula of Lorain and brothers Andrew Zadorozny of Lorain and Joseph Zadorozny of Vermilion. He was preceded in death by his wife Linda Zadorozny (nee Mishak), parents Andrew & Anna Zadorozny (nee Dziak), brother John Zadorozny and sisters Mary Jane McCrea and Carol Kusznir.
The family will receive friends Friday, October 7, 2005, from 4-8 PM at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain where the Parastas service will be held Friday at 7:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held in the funeral chapel on Saturday at 9:30 AM followed by the Divine Liturgy at 10:00 AM at St. John Ukrainian Byzantine Rite Catholic Church, 3038 Charleston Ave., Lorain. The Rev. Steven Paliwoda, pastor, will officiate. Burial with military honors will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
