Maria Rodriguez, 53, Home Health Aide

She was born September 15, 1952 in Caguas, Puerto Rico. She lived in New York until Moving to Lorain in 1976.

She was employed as a home health aide for eight years.

Mrs. Rodriguez was a member of Iglesia Pentecostal Cristo Misionera, Lorain. Where she was a member and past president of Confraternidad de Damas and a Bible School teacher. She enjoyed collecting dolls and singing religious music.

Among the survivors are her husband of 33 years Reverend Ruben Rodriguez of Lorain, sons Carlos Claudio, Ruben Rodriguez II and Josue "Danny" Rodriguez all of Lorain, daughter Nichole Rodriguez of Lorain; her mother Angela Roldan of Lorain, brothers Angel Luis Claudio of Buffalo, New York, Roberto Claudio of Reading, Pennsylvania, Jaime, Pedro and Candido Claudio all of Caguas Puerto Rico, Jose Ernesto, Jose Antonio, Alfredo, Victor Claudio all of Lorain; sisters Carmen, Rosa Rivera Claudio and Francis and Margarita Claudio all of Lorain.

She was preceded in death by her father Bartolo Cladio.

Friends may call Wednesday, October 12, 2005, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Iglesia Pentecostal Cristo Misionera, 1930 Broadway, Lorain. Where funeral services will be Thursday 10:00 AM in the church. Reverend Miguel Serrano, Pastor officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
